It’s directed by Genndy Tartakovsky of Dexter’s Lab and Samurai Jack fame. Probably one of the strongest animation directors of this generation. The man who created the single good thing to come out of the damn Star Wars prequels.
And I’ll bet you this is the first time you’ve heard that. They’ve focused so hard on making this a freakin’ Adam Sandler family-friendly vehicle that they’ve buried their strongest selling point.
