But I want companies to know everything about me, all they want to do is sell me stuff that I want to buy! In a perfect world you’d never see an ad for something you wouldn’t want to buy, what purpose would that serve? Hopefully all that information would help them get me coupons or sales for stuff I was going to buy anyways.
Although honestly at this point I’d welcome a robot apocalypse if they were willing to give me a good deal on something. I would sign the paperwork that would end humanity if it got me 50% off movie tickets.
