the worst feeling about trying to draw is being a mediocre artist. You realize you’re not terrible and family and friends who can’t draw at all tell you all the time how amazing you are, but you, as the artist, have seen what amazing really is and you realize that it isn’t you.

Just in case you didn’t catch last night’s mind-blowing Kitchen Nightmare’s season finale, you can watch it here in full.

This episode follows the lives and business habits of Samy and Amanda Bossingham and their failing restaurant, Amy’s Baking Company.

The spectacle includes the owner, Samy, shouting expletives at customers who dared to wonder where their food is after a two hour wait, Amanda firing a quiet waitress who dared to ask if a meal had been plated properly, and most shockingly the owners openly admitting they gave 0% of tips to the wait staff.  They pocketed 100% of the tips, and had gone through over 100 service people in only a year.

The reason there is so much rage at this couple, at least for me, is not just that they run a bad business and treat their customers and employees with so much hostility one can barely stand to watch, but that these kind of businesses and people who run them flourish.  Many of us have been afraid of our aggressive employers, unfairly blamed for our higher-ups mistakes.  All of us bottom-feeders, we’ve been the butt at one point or another of rich entitled people trying to either sell us garbage or blame us for serving it.

Ladies and gentleman, meet the face of the Garbage-Makers.  These are the people who feed you garbage, who pay you minimum wage without tips to sell their garbage, who threaten to call the police when you do not pay for their garbage.

And no, I don’t pity that they are the butt of nearly every social networking joke from now until they go under.

It’s this year’s Cook’s Source Magazine Scandal.  Anyone remember them?  Yeah that’s right.  They wanted to fight every yelp review and nameless blogger and facebook user and redditor too.

And well, who the fuck has heard of them since? Judith Griggs, you have family.

please actually try to sue the internet, please oh please oh please

bullshit internet defamation suits are my FAVORITE THING

My favorite part of the episode is how you can tell Gordon Ramsay is trying to do his Ramsay-schtick for most of the episode but their reactions and general unhingedness just eclipses the show.

“Who wants to eat these frozen raviolis!? The diner deserves to know!”

“WELL GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU DON’T KNOW FOOD!!! EVERYONE’S ATTACKING ME! THE HATERS AND THE BLOGGERS!!! YOU’RE FIRED FOR YOUR ATTITUDE!!!”

“I… uh… well then.”

You ever get all amped up to tear someone to shreds in an ask (or a reblog) for saying something shitty…

but then you get to their page and they’re like 14?

Nope, not gonna do it, not going to be that guy.
